1. Plain knot
The plain knot is one the most popular knot used by men. It is suitable for almost every kind of tie material.
Tips: The parts beside the depression formed beneath the knot should be uniform and symmetrical.

2. Cross knot
This is suitable for the tie with elegant single color and thin material. Men fond of fashionable look might as well use the cross knot.

3. Double knot
A tie with delicate texture accompanied by a double knot can be quite stylish, which makes it a good choice for young workers. The feature of the double knot is the first loop would show a little bit out of the second loop – do not conceal the first loop deliberately.

4. Windsor knot
A Windsor knot and a broad-collar shirt are a good match. This knot should better be developed horizontally and not be too large. However, it does not go well with thick ties.

5. Double cross knot
Such a knot looks elegant and solemn and is perfect for a formal occasion. It is applied to plain colored silk ties and even shows a sense of dignity with broad-collar shirts.

6. Prince Albert knot
The Prince Albert goes well with shirts with romantic button-down and pointed collars. The best result is achieved with narrow ties made of romantic soft materials. When tying this knot, leave a long space on the wide side in the first place and the two loops should be compactly wound together.

7. Four-in-hand knot (single knot)
This is the most easy knot applicable to all styles of shirts and ties of romantic series.

8. Trend knot
This is a perfect knot style so is appropriate for diverse collars and shirts of romantic series. When the knot is done, crumple the wide side beneath the knot so as to narrow the knot, and the narrow side can be moved right or left so as to show a little part beside the wide side.

9. Simple knot (coachman knot)
It is applied to thick ties and perfectly matched with the shirts with standard or button-down collars. Turn over the wide side 180° down and conceal the fold part behind; when the knot is completed, the length of the tie can be as well adjusted. This is the most common knot style.

10. Half Windsor knot
This knot style is very much graceful and rare. It is complex and relatively easy for narrow ties. Shirts with romantic pointed collars or standard collars suit it best.
